GlobX is looking for a skilled, responsible, and detail-oriented Accountant with 3–4 years of experience to join our team in Kerala. 

We are seeking a professional who can independently manage accounting operations, ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, and maintain accurate financial records with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of accounting, hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting, and the ability to manage financial activities efficiently.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping.
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting entries in Odoo.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and expense management.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
• Manage GST compliance, including return preparation, reconciliation, and timely filing.
• Handle VAT compliance and related tax requirements for applicable international business operations.
• Prepare financial statements, periodic reports, and management summaries.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure compliance with applicable financial and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with management, auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and support internal reporting requirements.

✅ Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification.
• 3–4 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Indian GST regulations, including returns, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
• Working knowledge of VAT regulations applicable to international business operations.
• Proficiency in Odoo Accounting and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with other accounting software and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Ability to independently manage accounting activities with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and financial discipline.
• Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with different stakeholders.

Candidates should have good communication skills in the following languages:

• Malayalam
• English
• Hindi
